Natalia Ramos Mejía graduated as a Summa Cum Laude Doctor of Law from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in 1998, receiving the “Konrad Lorenz Rodríguez” award for academic excellence as a distinction. Supported the thesis: Rights of Artists, Performers and Performers, according to Dominican Law, No.32-86. In 2001 he completed a Master’s Degree in Trademarks, Patents and Copyright (VIl Magister Lucentinus) from the University of Alicante, Spain. Natalia Ramos is certified in Fashion Law by the Fashion Law Institute of Fordham University in New York and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Fashion Law at the Fashion Law Institute in Madrid, Spain. It has always been constantly updating and training, both nationally and internationally, in related matters, such as Competition Law..

After 8 years of experience, and having co-founded a law firm specializing in general legal services, in 2012 she founded her own firm: NRAMOS. He has developed his professional practice, accumulating vast experience in the area of ​​Intellectual Property, Immigration Law, Corporate Law, Fashion Law and related matters. She is a consultant and legal representative on issues such as trademark protection and maintenance, practical feasibility analysis, litigation, border measures, piracy, copyright and health regulations, among others. He has also worked in the coordination of powerful social projects related to awareness and capacity development to combat counterfeit medicines in the Dominican Republic, through the non-profit organization Fundación Dominicana COMPITE, with the support of the Embassy of the United States of America.

Dr. Ramos is a founding partner of “ATELIER LEGAL”, the first Dominican Fashion Law platform that seeks to unite fashion and legality, to achieve a more structured and responsible fashion industry. She is a partner of “FASHION LAW LATAM”, the first non-profit global association made up of lawyers specializing in Fashion Law, who seek to strengthen Economic, Social, Cultural and Environmental Rights (ESCR) in the fashion industry.

Active member of the Bar Association of the Dominican Republic, member of the board of the Dominican Intellectual Property Association (ADOPI), member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI).
