Nramos is leaded by Natalia Ramos Mejía who was entiled Doctor in Law, Summa Cum Laude from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in 1998, receiving as a distinction the award “Konrad Lorenz Rodriguez” to academic excellence. Supported the thesis: Rights of the Artists and Performers, according to the Dominican Law, No.32-86. In 2001 completed a Masters in Trademarks, Patents and Copyrights ( VII magíster Lucentinus) from the University of Alicante, Spain and since then has been constantly updating and training both nationally and internationally, on matters related, as Competition Law, Trade and International contracts, and writing articles as well.
After eight years of experience, Dr. Natalia Ramos was co-founder of the law firm Jaquez & Ramos, to which she belonged for seven years until in 2012 she founded her own firm: NRamos, headed by her today. She has developed her professional practice accumulating vast experience in the area of Intellectual Property, Migratory Law, Labor Law and related. Consultant and legal representative on issues such as protection and maintenance of Trademarks, practical viability analysis, litigation, border measures, piracy, copyright and sanitary regulations, among others. She has also worked in coordinating powerful social projects related to awareness and capacity building to fight counterfeit medicines in the Dominican Republic, through the nonprofit organization Fundación Dominicana COMPITE, with the support of the Embassy of United States Of America.
Active member of the Dominican Bar Association, Dominican Association of Intellectual Property (ADOPI) and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
